Extreme encoder from Leine & Linde
The new 1000 series from Leine & Linde offers encoders for extreme environments. The range is designed to meet the exceptional requirements of the steel industry. In such applications, the encoder is exposed to severe mechanical stress, vibrations and shock, as well as dusty environments with high temperatures.
With its sturdy bearings and enclosure the 1000-series encoder achieves extraordinary durability in all applications with similar demands. The enclosure, rated IP67, easily protects the encoder’s internal components from dust and liquids. Stainless steel housing is available as a special option.
A number of incremental and absolute variants are available, and a combination of both types can be integrated in the same product. The absolute variants are available with interfaces such as SSI, EnDat, PROFIBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet™ or with a parallel output with resolutions up to 25 bit.
